Every year thousands of families arrive in Kenya, either to settle down for good or for a season (such as diplomats, expats). The choice of schools has expanded considerably with the number of schools going by the name ‘international’ constantly on the rise.
How would you advise immigrant families––whether Kenyans or foreign nationals––seeking to embed their kids into the local education system? Is is worth the high price tag to enrol them in ‘international’ schools or will local schools do just as well?
