Does It Really Matter If a Child Repeats a Class? 🎒⏳

When a child is struggling—whether academically, emotionally, or socially—some parents consider the option of having them repeat a class to give them time to grow, catch up, or rebuild confidence. But this decision is often met with resistance: fear of stigma, concern about age differences, or pressure to “keep up.”

Yet in the fullness of time , those one or two years may make little difference . After all, as adults, we end up studying, working, and building relationships with people older and younger than us all the time—and no one blinks.
